Andrea is the founder and owner of Phoenix Tutoring Services. She graduated from the University of South Florida in 2012 with her BS in Elementary Education and went on to teach at a Title 1 school. During her time as a fourth grade teacher, she realized that her niche in education was special education and went on to become endorsed as an ESE teacher. From there, she worked with ESE students in grades 3-5. She wrote IEPs, tracked goals and objectives, and advocated for struggling students.
Andrea then went on to teach at a private preschool and learned much more about early literacy and the positive impact exposure to early education can have on children.
Andrea and her husband, Robert, are current foster parents. They also have one biological daughter together. Phoenix Tutoring was born out of a passion for teaching and a heart for at-risk youth.
